TELEHEALTH
Telehealth is a model of service delivery that utilizes technology to provide access to a wide range of health care in ABA services mainly one on one ABA therapy, parent education, behavioral consultation, and virtual assessment to develope intervention.
Virtual ABA Therapy: It is conducted remotely through video conferencing platforms. Sessions take place in the child's natural environment, typically their home, and involve real-time interaction between the therapist and the child. Telehealth can be used to inclusive care by enabling multiple participants, such as parents, caregivers, and additional team members to join in therapy seamlessly. SBEC with qualified and licensed providers, specializing in distance therapy and trainig, deliver personalized services to eligible clients tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Parent Education: Comprehensive training programs are designed for parents, caregivers,
and professionals working closely with clients. These programs equip participants with essential
knowledge and strategies for fostering adaptive behaviors and addressing challenging behaviors
with saving time and money. Our clinicians share some guidance on how you can implement ABA
therapy at home with your child to help them learn new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
they might have.
Behavioral Consultation: Behavioral consultation services delivered by skilled experts, providing invaluable insights and guidance to navigate complex behavioral challenges and foster positive outcomes in a wide range of health care. Moreover, our platform allows virtual discussions with licensed BCBA professionals to address any concerns promptly and efficiently.
Virtual Assessment: virtual assessment refers to the process of conducting assessments and evaluations of a client's behavior, skills, and progress using online platforms or telecommunication technologies instead of in-person sessions. This approach has become increasingly prevalent due to advancements in technology and the need for flexibility in service delivery, especially in situations where in-person sessions are not feasible or convenient.
Virtual assessments in ABA therapy typically involve the following components; 1) Behavioral Assessment; 2) Skill Assessment; 3) Functional Behavior Assessment; 4) Data clollection; 5) Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team.
While Telehealth offers flexibility and accessibility benefits, there are also challenges to consider, such as technological limitations, potential barriers to rapport-building, and difficulties in conducting certain assessments or procedures remotely. Our professional therapists adapt their techniques and utilize appropriate technology to overcome these challenges and ensure accurate and effective services deliver to the eligible individual.
